This is from my collection of paintings made in a residency in the West of Ireland in September 2023.

I visited the Blasket Islands off the West Coast Dingle Penisula and researched old photographs, of the people who had lived there. I painted this with respect and love to the community who lived there. I believe this was the schoolhouse.
